What does CrawlRelay do?
CrawlRelay gives scrapers and data pipelines a residential gateway that behaves the way developers expect: one host, standard HTTP and SOCKS5, targeting and sessions in the username, traffic billed per GB that never expires, and documentation that covers the failure cases as well as the happy path.
We do not run a device network ourselves. We resell residential and mobile IPs from established upstream partner networks, add the gateway logic, accounts, crypto checkout, documentation, support and abuse handling, and sell it as one service. Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA; the sourcing page also sets out what we cannot verify.
Why a proxy service for developers?
Because the people who build scrapers and AI data pipelines are often badly served. In 2026 the largest networks moved residential access behind company verification, budget offers expire after 31 days or a month, and two networks were taken down after Google reported that devices had joined them without their owners' knowledge (IPIDEA in January, through Google legal action; NetNut in July, with domains seized by the FBI and IRS-CI). Developers were left choosing between paperwork, waste and risk.
CrawlRelay answers with four choices: per-GB traffic that never expires, payment in crypto without identity checks, a published Acceptable Use Policy that makes that possible, and docs good enough to debug a 407 at two in the morning.
What principles do we follow?
- Public data only. We sell for public-data work and suspend accounts that use the gateway for fraud, account takeover, spam or circumvention.
- Dated facts. Every competitor price on this site carries its check date and source; our prices are on the pricing page and in machine-readable form in
/pricing.json. - No invented numbers. We publish no pool size, success rate or uptime figure that we have not measured with a stated method.
- No fake reviews. No ratings, testimonials or customer counts on this site.
- Plain rules. The Acceptable Use Policy, terms, privacy policy and refund policy are written to be read.
