Proxies for developers without KYC or a company email

Freelancers, researchers and small teams often cannot pass a company verification to buy a few gigabytes. Here is what CrawlRelay asks for instead, what it keeps, what it blocks, and how other providers compare in 2026.

Quick answer

Which residential proxies can developers buy without ID verification?

CrawlRelay sells residential proxies to developers with no ID, no selfie, no documents and no company email: Account-number login; email is optional. Traffic costs $1.50 for 1 GB and $0.50/GB from 50 GB, as of October 2026, paid in crypto such as USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20) or USDC (ERC-20). Instead of identity checks, every account follows an Acceptable Use Policy, and banking, government and payment-portal sites are blocked. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Pay in crypto.

What CrawlRelay asks for, keeps and blocks

Asked at sign-upNothing: an account number is generated; email is optional
Not askedID, selfie, proof of address, company documents, company email, phone number
KeptWe do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy
Blocked on every planBanking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587

Abuse reports[email protected] — Abuse reports are reviewed by a person, and confirmed abuse leads to suspension

Why do many proxy providers require KYC now?

Because residential networks became an abuse channel, and providers answered with identity checks. In 2026, Google disrupted the IPIDEA network (January) and US authorities seized NetNut's domains (July); Proxyway's analysis of the NetNut case listed buying access "without providing a real name" among the aggravating factors.

As of October 2026, the main providers state these rules on their own pages:

  • Bright Data: company KYC for Residential zones created after July 7, 2026; personal email accounts cannot be approved.
  • SOAX: crypto payments only after KYC.
  • IPRoyal: identity verification for unrestricted access.
  • Oxylabs: some filters may require a quick KYC verification.
  • Webshare: a brief KYC to unlock certain targets.

How does CrawlRelay screen without documents?

By what the traffic does, not by who the buyer is:

  1. Blocked categories. Banking, government and payment-portal sites, and the SMTP ports used to send email, are refused on every plan.
  2. Written rules. The Acceptable Use Policy allows public-data collection and forbids fraud, account takeover, spam, circumvention and the other uses that got networks seized.
  3. An abuse desk. Site owners and network operators can report traffic to [email protected]; a person reviews each report.
  4. Consequences. Confirmed abuse leads to suspension or termination, without a refund.

This model fits developers: most scraping jobs need a few gigabytes and a proxy password, not a compliance file. It does not fit anyone who wants a proxy to hide fraud; they are the reason the rules exist.

What does a developer actually need to sign up?

A crypto wallet and a minute. The steps:

  1. Open the client area; an account number is generated for you. Store it in a password manager: it is your login.
  2. Top up from $25 in USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL or LTC. See crypto payments.
  3. Buy a plan, such as 1 GB for $1.50, and copy the proxy username and password.
  4. Optionally add an email address for receipts and account recovery (without one, a lost account number cannot be recovered), and create sub-users per project.

No document review means no waiting: credentials appear as soon as the top-up is credited.

No-KYC proxies: questions

Is a no-KYC proxy provider legitimate?

It can be, if it publishes rules and enforces them. Check for an acceptable use policy, a list of blocked targets, an abuse contact, a sourcing statement and a named operator. CrawlRelay publishes all five: the AUP, its blocked list, [email protected], the sourcing page and ProxyGoat LLC as operator.

Can I buy residential proxies with a personal Gmail address?

Yes, or with no email at all. Account-number login; email is optional. Bright Data's documentation says personal email accounts cannot be approved for Residential zones created after July 7, 2026; CrawlRelay does not check email domains.

Is there a spending level that triggers KYC?

No tier in the CrawlRelay price list asks for identity documents, from 1 GB to 1 TB. We may refuse or suspend service in case of abuse, fraud or a legal obligation, and the service is not available in countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. Large buyers are welcome to tell support about their project in advance.

Does no KYC mean no records at all?

No. No KYC means we do not collect identity documents. Your traffic still leaves through IPs we are responsible for, we keep the records listed above, and we answer valid legal process with the data we hold. Use the service for public-data work under the rules, as most customers do.

Buying a proxy without identity checks is a provider policy, not a legal test, and using a proxy is generally lawful. What matters is what you do with it: site terms, computer-misuse, data-protection and anti-spam laws apply either way. This is not legal advice; see is web scraping legal?.
